JEGA at Vietnam Design Week VMARK 2024

JEGA Vietnam participated in the Vietnam Design Week VMARK 2024. This leading design event in Vietnam took place successfully from October 18th to 30th, 2024, with the theme " Design Thinking . Design Tomorrow ". VMARK 2024 was not just an event, but a journey of discovery, connection, and celebration of the power of design in building a sustainable and creative future. 

Highlights of VMARK 2024: 

The design dialogue #1: GREEN DESIGN in OFFICE BUILDING emphasized the role of Architects and Designers in green design, promoting sustainability, and how their influence affects client decisions. How do businesses balance sustainability and cost-effectiveness in office design regarding issues like minimizing energy consumption, reducing CO2 emissions, and using environmentally friendly materials while ensuring the aesthetics of the building? How can we integrate urban planning with office buildings to create greener and more sustainable cities? 

The design dialogue #2 - TECH-DRIVEN. ECO-CONSCIOUS focused on discussing content and sharing knowledge in design/architecture where the combination of technology and environmental design becomes a core element for sustainable development in the current era. These initiatives highlight the application of advanced technology to promote green design, creating breakthrough solutions that meet the needs of modern life and comfort while also focusing on protecting the planet for the future. 

VMARK 2024 Design Awards Gala 

The awards ceremony honored 36 outstanding design projects, representing the creative and innovative spirit of the Vietnamese design industry. From sustainable design solutions to breakthroughs in technology design, each project brought a unique story, a unique vision, contributing to the overall picture of the strong development of the design industry. The event was also an opportunity to introduce new design trends, creative solutions in sustainable furniture, architecture, and products, opening up new perspectives on the future of the industry. 

VMARK 2024, marking the 5th year of the event, has affirmed its position as an important forum, gathering over 5000 designers, architects, businesses, universities, and leading experts in the industry. JEGA Vietnam, in collaboration with VMARK 2024, shares the spirit of promoting creativity, sustainable development, and innovative thinking in design. We believe that this event will contribute to building and honoring national cultural identity through design, while elevating the position of Vietnamese design internationally.
